Canon Color imageCLASS LBP664Cdw Driver
Canon imageCLASS LBP644Cdw driver for Windows and Mac OS
Designed for small working groups, Canon’s LBP664Cdw Color imageCLASS printer offers feature-rich capabilities with high-quality imaging, minimal maintenance, and the ability to add additional paper trays. The 5 “Color touch screen delivers a user experience that is intuitive and adaptable to the device administrator to simplify many everyday tasks. Like most machines mentioned here so far, MF644Cdw sends a MultiPage document to the scanner via the 50 page automatic Document feeder (ADF). The Single-Pass Auto-duplexer captures both sides of the two-sided pages simultaneously. Another feature that many of the colors of Office-centric AIOs has happened to them at the moment is the control panel with relatively large, sometimes customizable touch screen colors. This Canon offers a 5 inch screen that allows creating a separate panel or a custom shortcut task for a job such as scanning or printing from the Cloud site for each user or department. Canon calls these tasks the application libraries, and can configure them from the control Panel or from the MF644Cdw’s built in Web portal, a website that provides intricate control over every aspect of the printer, including monitoring consumables, generating and printing usage reports, or setting up security parameters. Paper handling consists of 1250 sheet tapes and one-sheet overwrite trays for printing envelopes and other one-off media that will require emptying and configuring the main source of paper. It is 100 sheets more than MF634Cdw, but 50 sheets, which can be expanded to 850 sheets. The color imageClass MF644Cdw’s suggest a monthly print volume is 2,500 pages, similar to its predecessor and Pro workforce. Standard 1000BaseT Ethernet interface, 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi, USB 2.0 to plug in one PC, and peer-to-peer Wi-Fi protocol directly to print to mobile devices without Local Area Network (LAN) useful. If this method is unavailable, always be able to print from or scan to the thumb drive and other USB storage devices via the port located to the left of the output tray. Other mobile connectivity options include Apple AirPrint, Mopria for Android, Google Cloud Print, and Canon Print Business. The latter allows to print from and scan to the most popular cloud sites from Android or iOS handheld, as well as print and scan two-sided documents and much more. In addition to standard IPS and other network security options, MF644Cdw also supports Secure Print to keep the eye away from sensitive documents with personal identification numbers (PINS), as well as individual departments and passwords to determine (or deny) access to certain functions such as printing in color. Canon raised the value of MF644Cdw at 22 pages per minute (ppm) for single-sided prints, which are on average high side for entry-level engines. However, because like most Canon AIOs lasers, the default setting is to print a two-sided page, I measured both one-sided print speed (simplex) and two-sided (duplex). A common problem among the low-end and the midrange laser color AIOs is the mismatch between volume ratings and their per-page usage costs that actually to print this Canon recommended volume rating of 2500 pages each month.
