The Canon imageCLASS MF7470 networked monochrome laser all-in-one printer incorporates full network connectivity for all multifunction printer operations. It adds the ability to perform network scanning and can output files in JPEG, TIFF, and PDF formats. It also has the ability to perform network printing with PCL5 and PCL6 support. This printer improves productivity and cost efficiency with a built-in Ethernet port for networking to share printing and faxing directly from a PC. Super G3 Fax (33.6 Kbps) makes it possible to send and receive double-sided documents quickly and easily while reducing phone line costs and paper usage. Convenient features include 200 one-touch speed dial numbers, 300 coded speed dial numbers, 1,000 page fax receive memory capacity, and sequential broadcast and activity reports. This printer can scan and holds original documents up to 11 x 17″ (ledgers, tabloids, 280 x 432mm). The convenient 50-page Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) enhances the printer’s ability to streamline workflows, requiring less operator intervention, and allows automatic two-sided copying, printing, and scanning.The Canon imageCLASS MF7470 has two front-loading 250-sheet paper cassettes that allow for loading of all different sizes and types of media.It also has a versatile 80-sheet tray for handling thicker media such as envelopes and card stock. The printer produces crisp, clear monochrome prints and copies at speeds of up to 25 pages per minute. Operation of the printer is directed via a convenient 5.9″ (150mm) VGA touchscreen that provides user-friendly menus for setting up various functions. This printer is also made to speed up workflow via a USB 2.0 interface. The Canon imageCLASS MF7470 printer uses Canon’s Single Cartridge System which combines the toner and drum in one easily replaceable unit, resulting in excellent image quality consistency and eliminating the hassle of storing and replacing separate toner and drum units.
