This printer is the ideal solution for the MEA, CAD, GIS, archives, reproduction and office markets. With new technological advancements, the ability to quickly and accurately create maps, layout designs, posters, photographs, art reproductions, and more. The innovations put into the printer meet many market needs which have an L-COA image processor which is exclusively designed to produce the best quality output at the highest possible speed. The new ink system consists of four dye inks and a 2 channel matte black pigment ink. Double matte black is used for maximum black density and speed. Another key feature of each of these devices is the new high-density print head, which increases printing speed and improves durability. The print head is packed in more than 15,000 nozzles, which increases the accuracy of the device, as well as output consistency. Combined with Canon’s dual print head design and the industry’s highest per color ink nozzle, the L-COA controller helps achieve print speeds of under three minutes for print sizes of 16.5″ x 23.4″ (A2), at a resolution of 1200 x 1200 dpi on glossy photo paper.
