This printer uses a High-Density Print Head to produce detailed prints with resolutions up to 2400 x 1200 dpi on documents up to 36″ wide and up to 59′ long. In addition, this printer uses Canon’s L-COA (Large Format Printer Common Architecture) print controller for fast operation, and has an Economy mode to save ink. Along with these printing capabilities, this multi-function printer is equipped with the M40 scanner, a 42″ wide model that offers high-quality scanning of large format documents using an optical resolution of 1200 dpi. This setup provides a total scan area that is 40″ wide and can work with documents up to 590″ long when using the TIFF format. Ensuring color accuracy and long print life is the five-color dye/pigment Reactive Ink set. The Canon imagePROGRAF iPF785 also incorporates a sub-ink tank system which ensures all available ink is used before changing cartridges and allows replacement cartridges without stopping the printer for long print jobs.In addition, this printer also features a 320GB hard drive and 32GB RAM for smooth operation when working with large files.Attached with the printer is a variety of software to monitor your printer status and increase productivity.In between wars Included software is multiple status monitors, plug-ins for Microsoft Office, modules optimized for AutoCAD, and Poster Artist Lite.
